Why do most people say that Heero Yuy is 'the perfect soldier'? For one, it's mainly because he is so cold and unwavering to complete his mission. But this is not entirely true. To be a perfect soldier, you must be able to take orders, be observant, to blend in, and most importantly, complete the mission at all costs! Heero has been known to fail in all of these important things. Heero was ordered to stay undercover and eliminate anyone who might blow his cover. But he could never manage to kill Relena, who could've blown his cover and ruined everything that Dr.J had planned. It was in his mission priorities to remove all obstacles, and he didn't kill Relena. Did Trowa attempt to kill everyone in his way? Yes. In the series as well as in Endless Waltz. When Duo was captured, and Heero went to silence him; Heero once again failed his mission. He should have killed Duo who might have been tortured to reveal the identities of the Gundam Pilots, or might have betrayed Heero. Either way, Duo should've been dead a long time ago. Also, his major screw-up on one of his missions. By making too many assumptions, Heero stupidly blew up a shuttle filled with Federation pacifists, including Marshal Noventa, without confirming it was an OZ carrier.
Trowa Barton the Perfect Soldier- Trowa the Enigma. The perfect soldier that wears a mask to hide his emotions. He has nothing. No past, no one to protect, nothing to live for, and not even a name to call himself. If you have ever read the 'Episode Zero' manga, it says that Trowa was a soldier from the first time he could ever remember. He had no family or anyone to remember his past by. He was empty, he was a void of emotion.
Trowa Barton has no memory of himself, he has virtually no childhood on which to recall upon. Therefore he practically has no weaknesses. He doesn't crack under pressure, he doesn't let his emotions overcome him, unlike Heero, who put his feelings for Relena first on some occasions, he is always focused on the mission and he won't let anyone, not even he closest friends, intervene in them.
