I shouldn’t have walked away
{chapter 4}

Nick arrived Lauren thought she was getting over him but now she wasn’t sure
anymore.
Nick and Lauren drove to the club. While driving Nick asked Lauren. “How did
you become like that?” he didn’t say it like it was bad, but like he cared.
“I fell in love with some guy, but he didn’t even look at me like he was
interested. I was so sad, depressed and I cried so much. Then sometime I just
started to show how I feel. Now I look on the outside as I felt and kinda still
feel on the inside.” Lauren told him. “What made you think that he wasn’t
interested in you? Any person who doesn’t love you must be stupid.” He said
and smiled at her.
*~*I was finally getting over you, thinking we were through, I even thought I
had crushes on guys other then you, until one day I saw you again, I held my
head high thinking I wasn't gonna fall then you had to smile at me and ruin it
all.*~*
In front of the club they parked and got out of the car. Nick was a bit scared
but when Lauren took his hand he relaxed. It was dark in the club. Scary music
was playing. All people there were dressed in black and had black and white make
up on their faces. “Pick a name.” Said Lauren. “Why? I already have one.”
Said Nick confused. “But Nick’s a normal name. I call myself Crysania.”
She said. “Uh? What about…uhm…Pegasus?” asked Nick. “Well, that one is
it. Let’s go!” she said. Lauren introduced Nick to some people. “Taurisha,
this is Pegasus, Pegasus, this is Taurisha.” She said. The girl looked really…scary
to Nick. Nick wondered if he was gone nuts because everything and everyone in
this club looked scary to him. “Hey Pegasus, welcome here. You new in town?”
Taurisha asked. “No, but I’m not often at home because of my job.” He said.
“You look familiar.” Said Taurisha. Then Lauren whispered Taurisha in the
ear: “That’s Nick, you know, the one I told you so much of.” Taurisha’s
eyes grew wide as she looked back at Nick and whispered to Lauren: “What? The
Backstreet Boy. The one you’re in love with like forever. He’s cool. I
didn’t think he would have the guts to come in this club.” Nick stood there
and felt out of place. The two girls were whispering and he just stood there and
looked silly. So he decided to go to the bar and get to know some people. On the
way to the bar he thought: “I hope Lauren didn’t tell Taurisha that I’m
Nick Carter. I don’t know what the people would do if they found out who I am.
They might attack me with…their…uhm swords? Oh god, I hope not.” He sat at
the bar and ordered a coke. Next to him sat a boy who was about 17 years old.
The boy asked: “Are you new? Don’t think I’ve seen you here before.”
“It’s my first time here. I’m here with my friend L- …uh…Crysania.”
Said Nick.
