CUSTOM TELECASTER
This is my '74 example with its glittering non-original mother-of-pearl pickguard, buttons and double-blade treble pick-up. It is a wonderful guitar for sure. Very light and easy to play with contrasting strong and dominating sound, you really can use it for what it was made for: Keith Richards power chords. The rosewood fretboard is so dark and smooth, you could swear it is ebony. And I really love the design of the pick guard which suits the old tele body to perfection.
This particular guitar has a very special 'custom' logo as you can see. Its lettering is very subtle as if they tried to hide what kind of tele it was. I think it is a rare logo.
Here is the '77. While bearing a beautiful sunburst for a Fender guitar, it cannot stand the comparaison with the '74. Heavy, light colored rosewood and shiny varnished bulky neck, anyone would choose the other one. But it is very playable and has a nice and rather original sound.
