My Challenge 2, 2002 Photos
Hello! I am Danni. I am the wife of David and the mother of Jackson, Jaidan and Justus. I am a stay at home, which actually keeps me away from home most of the time. (go figure) I love completing BFL challenges, it really keeps me moving forward in all areas of my life when I am focusing on my personal goals, both physical and mental!
This will be my 5th "official" challenge. My first challenge was in 2001, I did really well, losing over 30 lbs. Unfortunately I wasn't able to maintain it long. I had regained 20 lbs. with in the year. I began again in June, 2002. That time I lost 20 lbs., and really gained a love of working out and of myself! I have maintained my weight during the last 2 challenges, which was actually a good thing for me. My fear of relapse was high, knowing I can keep the weight off and in a healthy manner is important to me. So, both of those challenges were successful even if I didn't lose much weight. The mental changes were what was needed to further my progress. I am now entering "official" challenge #5. April 14- July 6, 2003.
I look forward to attaining all of my goals and seeing myself in a pair of size 4 jeans!!
My weight is not a factor this challenge. My focus is on nutrition and work outs.. I know if I can complete the goals I have for those areas the weight will take care of itself, besides I have no idea what my "ideal" body weight will be... increasing muscle mass adds pounds!!!
My hobbies are mostly sports affiliated. Mind you , I am not a couch potato that enjoys watching them on T.V. I like to participate in them!! My favorite is baseball, however I play softball on a Co-Ed slow pitch team. I am also involved with my children and their teams. My son plays soccer and baseball. I am the loud mouth mother on the side lines.. rooting and yelling for him! Taking part in his games and practices is what I really enjoy. Kids are so amazing! I love being around them and helping in any way possible.
My daughter plays soccer, does gymnastics (although not currently enrolled...) and she has just developed a love of basketball! Who would have guessed?? Watching your children develop natural talents is quite a blessing, partaking in that event is an honor!!
My youngest son is not quite old enough to be on a team but he sure keeps up with the other two.. hot on their tails in every event! I await the day he plays ball, he has a natural love of baseball that I haven't seen before in a child so young!

As stated previously, I am married to David, a wonderfully kind and loving husband and father. He is supportive of all that I do and so proud of all that I have accomplished. He too is getting involved in BFL. He just completed his first challenge, losing over 20 lbs. He is excited to begin another next month!
I love being a mother. My children are a delight to me. We have so much fun. Some of the things I enjoy the most are: helping out in their classes, attending events with them, watching their games, and just hanging out at home watching movies or playing X-box!

I want to take a minute and give thanks for my dear friend Nancy who has helped me accomplish so much more than I thought possible. She is the best at giving encouragement, support and love!!
I owe her a lot! I especially thank her for using her time to make a page in my behalf!! Love you, Ms. Nancy!!!
