The kitchen is large with an eat-in table, an electric range, Swedish woodstove, refrigerator/freezer, hot and cold running water, tiled counter, stainless steel double sink, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, high quality stainless steel pots, abundant dishes, baking pans, etc. and a generous supply of cutlery/utensils.
The dining room features French doors, a large dining table with seating for eight and a full length set of windows overlooking the lake: a perfect sunset view of water and islands.
The bathroom has a flush toilet, sink/cabinet, shelves, hair dryer and an antique clawfoot bathtub with shower attachment, shower curtain and spa bathmat.
An old-fashioned shady porch, looking over the lake, wraps around two walls of the cottage, furnished with chairs, picnic table and a propane bbq.
A 14-foot motorboat is included in the rental for travelling to the mainland. Also included are a Chestnut canoe and Sunfish sailboat. Access from the mainland is from a private piece of land near the island.
Fancy Free is one hour by car north of Kingston and is easily reached from the Thousand Islands International Bridge.
