My Heart
He asks How does one get to your heart?

Walk slowly from the start
Be my friend first
Give me my space
You cant satisfy a thirst
Until there is a desire
Dont get in my face
Slowly build the fire
I can be led but not dominated
Of my feelings be mindful
Remember Im very complicated
Dont forget my life is full
For jealousy there is no room
And no need when there is trust
Such will bring our path to doom
Dont let the beauty rust
Know my faith is strong
Though it may not be your faith
In believing there is no right or wrong
Allow us each to hold to our faith
Be there for me day by day
In sunshine and the rain
Allow time for play
Allow my spirit to fly free
Walk me thru any pain
Allow me to be me
Then youll be on the pathway to my heart
But before you start down that pathway
Remember ...

My heart is not free to be given away
