located?
SouthernHills is located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Can
you please give me more information on the
puppies?
The puppies where whelped and raised inside the home in a X-Large crate with a 12 x 12 exercise pen attached for running space. As puppies
matured, they are taken outside to 'experience' the outside world, and start
the basis of housebreaking. All puppies are introduced and interact with
small/large animals and cats. By the age of 6-8 wks, the pups have gone to
the veterinarian at least 3 three time. Once at 1-2 day old for the Dams
pelvic examine (make sure there is no infection), again at 3wks for health
check and a pre-cautionary deworming, and again at 6 wks for their 'first'
puppy shots. Both the Sire and the Dam have been check and are certified
against hip disorders (OFA). A five-generation Pedigree showing all Championships and CDs is available for you viewing, upon request. If the puppies stay with me longer than 8 weeks, they are treated as one of my own dogs, and given all treatment that is required by the City of Huntsville Ordinance (i.e., City license, and rabies shots etc.). are the temperaments of the
puppies?
All puppies are played, handled, and gently trained
from the time they are born. As puppies mature, they are taken outside to
'experience' the outside world, and start the basis of housebreaking. All
puppies still continue to play with the Dam and run /play with my other pets
so they will learn to 'share' toys. At 5-6 wks of age, puppies start eating
outside which starts a sound foundation on excellent housebreaking habits.
Fighting over food is not allowed. All puppies are introduced and interact
with small/large animals and cats. By the time the puppies are 8 wks old,
each one has been bathed two or more times, with each one getting the basis
puppy clip (nose, feet, tummy (penis/vulva area) and tails poms created).
Each puppy has shown excellent temperament while being washed/clipped and
shows no sign of anxiety (fighting the clippers) while on the grooming
table.
Do you
ship?
Puppies are available for shipping with the new owner paying all shipping cost. I take care to insure that puppies arrive safely to their new 'parents' and use Continental Airlines ONLY for shipping. Please refer
