-Kazuki's first comic convention is at an actual convention center in the Odaiba district of Japan called the Tokyo Big Sight. The building was opened in April, 1996 and has 230,000 square meters of floor space.
-Yuu's doujinshi circle is called "Karamitei" which means "Spicy Resturaunt"
-At the end of each episode, Taishi often can be heard yelling lines that parody other anime such as Mobile Suit Gundam (Can you keep drawing?), Star of Giants (Behold! That is the star of doujin!) and Neon Genisis Evangelion (Fan service, fan service!)
