6th May, 2004 - Fully ready to get back into it. Finally moved and everything. 24 track album is finished. You can download most of it at mp3.com.au. Also, we got to 14 on the metal charts there! Pretty good, I reckon, seeing as We're Shit.
6th March, 2004 - Album/EP/Demo thingy completed. Sending out units to friends and stuff. Have no home, the unit is being repaired. New equipment on the way. Back to it in a month or so. The recording quality is going to shoot up ten fold. Might try and get a demo of one of the songs recorded before all this shifting shit happened.
18th October, 2003 - Many new songs have been created. Check the discography or the link to the EP on the main page. Yes, that's right, we have enough for an actual print. It was originally ten tracks, but now it's more like 16. I've also been spending alot of time on another band I've created, Vado Mori, melodic black metal. I'll create a page for that shortly.
30th June, 2003 - Three years. 1 1/2 new songs. Ooh yeah, thats what I call progress.

20th December, 2000 - I'm thinking of changing the sound of the band to a sort of old style Amorphis (ie dark death metal, with abit of melody and keyboards). But then I'd have to rename the band, or something, because Rectal Spawn is a little crude, and what I'm thinking of would be more serious. I still want to use Rectal Spawn to make grind or something, but I don't have that much time for doing all this stuff, so I'll have to focus on one band thing at a time. I have too many ideas flaoting around and only one chance to make them come out on a album or something, so this Amorphis like thing could be the best option, I could incorperate some black influences as well. So its either Grind, or Dark Melodic Death/Black type of thing. Gee, I wonder what I'll do.. :P

24th October, 2000 - I don't know where Rectal Spawn is at the moment. The band is totally dependant on MY motivation as a musician, and sometimes that can just go flying out the window. More than who are listed have been working with me and just doing songs and shit like that (CUBASE), which is cool, and they all seem to want a piece of my band. I think its gone far beyond just Rectal Spawn. HOPEFULLY, in the holidays, I'll get something done with the band. HOPEFULLY.
I've been playing ALOT of guitar recently. Basicly just In Flames (thanks to Jeremy Disten and his brilliant tabs). And I'm really just working on my skills as a guitarist at the moment. I think In Flames is defenetly my strongest guitaring influence, hopefully I can make that become evident when I try and write some songs.

8th October, 2000 - I havnt updated in ages because, well, there hasnt been anything to update on. This weekend I used CUBASE for both days, it was cool. I got 1 and a half songs done, nothing special though. I seem to get stuck once I need to do something overly complicated on the drums (because I suck). I can do blast beats and stuff good, but thats about it. I did some random 2 guitar-In Flames recordings, just for the hell of it. Sounds really cool.
Bottem line - no EP. I suck. Next year. Alot more.
3rd September, 2000 - The day of CUBASE worked out quite well, I used it for a total of 7 hours (phew), but I didnt get all that much done.. I kinda got bored after awhile. I made a 2 minute piece of shit black metal style song, just to experiment, then I fucked around with DoubleDelay and Chorus for afew hours. Trippy shit. I'll have the mp3 of that black metal song up soon, I think.
31th August, 2000 - WOOP. Today I'm going be using CUBASE for an extensive amount of time! Hopefully, 10 hours! :P
21th August, 2000 - Since I have to have something done by the end of the term/year, I think Rectal Spawn will be doing a EP, with limited effort involved compared to what we really want.
Considerly it is extremely hard to write songs without drums.. I think I'll need to actually sit down with the drummer and write something, instead of just writing guitar alone. Recording should probably be done in the studio we have, and not just straight into cubase. oh well. Fuck I wish I could play drums.
20th August, 2000 - Hopefully soon we will get a chance to actually fuck around on CUBASE with some actual guitars and stuff, instead of keyboards. Then we can do some demos of us just fucking around, it should be good.

10th August, 2000 - Rectal Spawn has been evolving at a rapid rate, I have basicly kicked Dion(Dero) out as THE vocalist, because as its going now, I'll have many people doing vocals. He will remain the LEAD vocalist though, but really everyone is going to have a go. And I don't even really need Jason(Qob) on bass because I could just do it myself :P .. we shall see..

8th August, 2000 - Rob(Pulse) told me to say on here that the new Slow Pulse EP is titled Catalepsy, and will have 8 tracks. View the cover draft here.
5th August, 2000 - Imaginations have been running wild, we now have about 10 more peoples lined up for guest appearances. Sparky will do vocals on a song, Arkaan will do some keyboards for us (i hope), Pulse is gunna remix some more stuff, and the list goes on. I'm now involved in a Noise/Experimental project with Rob(Pulse), called Slow Pulse. Check out www.mp3.com/SlowPulse for more details.

24th July, 2000 - I've found out that some of the graphics looks abit shit on some computers, with a lighter black around the words. It looks fine on my machine, so suck shit. I've added a lyrics section, and will post some right now. I'm also having a cunt of a time with the positioning of the links on the front page, but I can't get it right, so fuck it.

21st July, 2000 - Today we disccused the name for our first album, names such as 'Titled Self', 'Guess What,... We Suck' and 'We're Only In It For The Money'. We also discussed how we are going to do the track 'An Ode To Moogie/Fuub'. We'll have to obtain samples of her going off at Dion, so we can use them in this track. I have also been bugging Dion to find the 'Eat Your Fruits and Vegetables' ad off one of his tapes, but he never will. So I bagged the fuck out of him. It was good.
