Alyssa

Alyssa was born in Brooklyn New York on 19th December 1972 to mom Lin and dad Tom. She was born into working class neighbourhood and grew up in a modest house on Staten Island. She was being babysat by an aspiring dancer who dragged her to an audition to star in Annie, when she ended up beating 1500 wannabe actresses, including her babysitter, to the roll. So at the tender age of 8 Alyssa joined the cast as July. After 18 months on tour Alyssa started to get the reputation of being an energetic and charismatic young actress. She left the show and started to appear in off-broadway productions and tv commercials.

Her big break came when she was cast as Samantha Micelli, the daughter of Tony Danza in tv series 'Who's the Boss?' at the age of 12. She said: 'the great thing about that character was it was obvious when she had to change because I was growing up.'
This was when her family up-rooted and moved to Hollywood.

After a successful 8 year run on the hit show Alyssa starred in a number of movies and tv roles such as 'Gold Rush' and 'Melrose Place'.(see filographys for more details)

She also produced 5 albums that were extremely popular in Japan with her 1st album reaching platinum status.

Her next big hit was 'Charmed' in which she replaced another actress to star as Pheobe along side Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty as her older sisters. She portrays the youngest sister-a free spirit that doesn't really think things through, much to her oldest sister Prue's dissappointment.

She has 7 tattoos- the sacred Hindu symbol 'OM' on her left wrist, some thing on her right wrist(not sure what), sacred heart on her bum, fairy kneeling on grass on her hip, an angel on her left ankel, a garland of flowers around her right ankle and a cross on her back.

Her fave quote is 'Its nice to be important but its important to be nice.'

Her hobbies include horse riding and looking after her 19 pets! She has 3 dogs, 13 birds and 3 horses! Her fave place for fun is Disney land.

Currently dating Charmed co-star Brian Krause!

She was awarded $230,000 in a default judgement against a web designer that posted unauthorized and fake, nude images of her. She has now helped develope a safe search engine/website that features no pornography along with her mother Lin Milano.
