8th Annual Orange and Green Scholarship Gala
This year's event will be taking place at the Sarasota Boat and Marina hotel (Old Holiday Inn Airport), on May 30th 2009 from 7 pm until 12 a.m.  Please join us for  this wonderful night of great food, dancing and much more.  All proceeds from the event will go towards the chapter scholarship

Tickets are $50.00 ea and can be purchased from any member of the Sarasota/Manatee Chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association .  Tickets can also be purchased by completing the ticket order  form (click here) and mailing  it  to the chapter.  If you are not able to attend the ball, and would like to make a donation, please complete the ticket form as well.


We are also selling pages in our Souvenir Book. All proceeds from the Souvenir Book will also go towards the chapter scholarship.  Prices for page space as follow:

2009 Florida A&M University Alumni Association -Sarasota Chapter Scholarship

Each year, the Sarasota Chapter of the Florida A&M University Alumni Association awards two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to local high school or community college students, who are planning to attend Florida A&M University. Applicants will be selected based on academic achievements and financial need.

To apply for scholarship, please complete application, which will be available in the Guidance Counselor's office at all local high schools in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Application can also be downloaded by clicking the link below.
