JAMES MORTON (1797-1871) AND
MARY PARKINSON (1809-1867)
James is the son of Alexander Morton and Martha Phoebe Blair, and Mary is the daughter of John Parkinson and Elizabeth Clark. Both were born in Chester County, South Carolina.

JAMES C. MCLAUGHLIN (1816-1876) AND ANNE ELIZABETH LYONS (1815-1908)
Both were born in Ireland, and came to America in the 1840s and settled among the Chester County, South Carolina group.

Tirzah married Joseph McLaughlin, Sarah married David Blair, Catherine married John Wyatt and Mary married James Blair.

These were James Morton and Mary Parkinson's daughters.
