Branch Bartolomeo Tagliaro
(Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil)
| History
|
The
Family Tagliar(o)i (all branches) is original from Gallio,
Commune of Asiago, County of Vicenza, in
the north of Italy, where Bartolomeo
Tagliaro lived with his wife Elizabeta Bau and its two
sons Angelo and Antonio, married with two sisters Antonia
and Catarina Baú. In the year 1873, therefore before the beginning of the official immigration to Brazil, Bartolomeo Tagliaro and Angelo's family, emigrated to Brazil, being 6 years later followed by the another brother, Antonio, who came in 1879 to join to the family in Bento Gonçalves, a small city in the province Rio Grande do Sul. Along the time and the generations, the Tagliaro(i) although a small family, have spreaded their members in such a way all over the country, that today they are present in almost all the states of Brazil. The objective of this Home Page
is to organize the family genealogy, to research the
history and the traditions and to promote the integration
among the descendants of this intrepid Bartolomeo
Tagliaro who, despite of his age (74), got the courage to
leave his country and to begin a new life in
America. |
