December 13th is a distinctive Swedish celebration, Lucia day. The day of honouring St. Lucia from Sicily but in the reality it's the celebration of light in the darkness winter. In the Swedish family one daughter will wake up the family and serve coffee and saffron Lucia buns (lusskatter). For me and Rolf, we take time to attend Lucia celebration or watch it on TV with warm gl�gg, pepparkakor and lussekatter |
