HISTORY--Steve grew up with bikes--"Stingray" style red Rollfast bike was first, followed by a Schwinn Traveler 3-speed. The Traveler was traded early on for a used Continental 10-speed. Steve still has the Continental, as well as a Varsity 10-speed.
While living in Ojai, Steve rode "over the hill" from Ojai to Santa Paula and back. Since college days, he has contemplated completing two long bike trips:
1) Canada to Mexico in California
2) Pacific to Atlantic
Steve's also become fascinated with the Swiss-made TWIKE--a two-person, all weather bike/car. Perhaps he'll own one one day... |
