Mr. Deeds
In this homage to (or is that "remake of"?) Frank Capra's 1936 comedy Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, starring Gary Cooper, a small-town guy (Adam Sandler) inherits a $40 billion fortune and promptly moves to the big city, where conniving opportunists attempt to get their hands on his money. Winona Ryder plays Babe Bennett, a tabloid reporter covering the story, and John Turturro plays Emilio, the trusty valet.
Lonfellow Deeds or just Deeds (Adam Sandler) shares a smile with Pam Dawson/Babe Bennett (Winona Ryder)
