The Anti Defamation League aims to "fight anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry here and abroad, combat international terrorism, probe the roots of hatred, advocate before Congress, come to the aid of victims of bigotry, develop educational programs, and serve as a public resource for government, media, law enforcement and the public, all toward the goals of countering and reducin g hatred." No doubt it does a lot of good work, but it can also be argued that it is a rascist and preferential organisation that frequently attacks and labels "anti-semitic" anybody who criticises the murderous military regime in Israel or the legitimacy of military and financial aid from the USA to Israel. The ADL and the media haven't yet cottoned on to the fact that to insult, attack or kill a muslim (or a Palestinian) is also anti-semitic. Look it up in the dictionary, its true.
As evidence for the type of bias that the Anti-Defamation League is responsible for, here is a table of attacks on Israeli citizens by Palestinians published on their site on 15/6/01.

These stats may look terrible to an unaware or already biased westerner who stumbles onto them by accident, but the fact is that they are completely meaningless out of context and they only tell half the story. For example, they do not give statistics for att acks or killings of Palestinaians by IDF or Israeli settlers. To get these go to martyrs, a list of Palestinians killed in the Autumn 2000 clashes, but remember: the Palestinian list of fatalities is only for a period of 5 months, the table above is for 9 months and lists ANY attacks, regardless of outcome. For obvious reasons, ADL do not list statistics for punishment house demolitions by the Israeli Defense Force. Notice also how the table includes no row for 'bombing of Israeli settlements by Palestinian forces with American provided F16 jets' or 'demolition of Israeli settlements by Palestinian bulldozers'. It may sound flippant, but these are the kind of attacks that the Palestinains have had to suffer and are never reported by people like the ADL.
