25th
ANNIVERSARY

MESSAGES
Words from the heart................................!
Hello everyone,

First and foremost, A very happy SELAMAT HARI ULANG TAHUN
KE-25 to all of you!

It is certainly a happy moment to have this opportunity again to say something to commemorate our 25th anniversary in our this newly ameliorated CYBERPAGE of Ex-St Paulian 78.
Evidently, It is also my greatest honour to welcome all of you to this newly instituted cyber-home of ours. This is our HOME. I sincerely hope all of you will drop in on and off to keep in touch at the same time checking out our latest news and updates.

The year 2003 is indeed a very particular year for us. I still recalled when Hendrew, Vincient and I first incepted our initial website in 1998 to celebrate our 20th anniversary and now, with just a twinkle of an eye another 5 years has gone. This year, all of us are rejoicing into the 25th commemoration. Although these years has gone after leaving our beloved St. Pauls Sec. School in 78, it is like yesterday. Nevertheless, the memories recorded down the lane will not be forgotten in our mind infinitely.

Indeed, I felt extremely grateful that despite two and half decades has gone, the relationship of our group, nicknamed The famous 47 given by some of ex-pals back in Form 2 still remain intact. This is something we are proud of. During our recent anniversary gathering dinner at the Puteri Restaurant, the scenario is greatly amazing. Those who attended enjoyed themselves so much. Their sincere smiles on the faces when meeting each other are excitably overwhelming. Those laughs and jokes throughout the night are most unforgettable. It is as if we are back into the 70s schooldays. It is a great night indeed.

While we are rejoicing this anniversary, I cannot stop to think of our loss buddies, Yit Kai and Nyet Bee who has left us abruptly. Literally, their absence is grievously felt by all of us.

Therefore, I sincerely appeal to all of you, my beloved pals. Please try your best to communicate with one another so that this special relationship of our beloved group The Famous 47  will endure forever and ever.

Thank you and warmest regards,

My dear Friends,

How are you? You are most welcome to visit our new cyberpage "Ex-St Paulian '78" which is recently launched. I greet everybody 'Selamat Datang' .This webpage is created basically for all of us. The old memories during those wonderful days of ours in school are exceptionally sweet and unforgettable.
Well, not observant of time, we have now departed from our beloved St Paul's Secondary School for 25 years. To say, some of us may even lost touch since the day we left in 1978. Time really passes too swiftly and what we have gained today is 'Age' Hmmm!! What a downhearted predicament.
Therefore, Tony,Vincient and I came to this idea to create this homepage hopefully to initiate opportunities for all of us to be able to communicate again. While this is our inaugural webpage, there are still a lot yet to be done. As a result, we need your utmost support and understanding to us. At the same time, we will appreciate very much if you could kindly contribute some of your precious photographs of the past and present so that we can insert into the webpage for the viewing of our other 'kawans' on these memorable collections. After so many years, it will be really an enjoyable time to recall and look back on those wonderful recollections of us during our previous schooldays in St Pauls.

Finally, I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all of you for being so flourishing in this challenging world and I take this opportunity to wish all of you the best in your future endeavors. Again, please feel free to log-in to our cyberhome to find out the latest activities and news. We will try our utmost to keep you updated.

Thank you.
Bye Bye!!!

My Dear friends,

How are you?  I am pleased to contribute this message in conjunction with our 25th Anniversary this year. As we celebrate our anniversary, I want to congratulate you all and thanks for your continued support of our   Ex-St. Paulian 78.
Cyber-Page. And I must congratulate Tony for a very fine effort and taking the initiative to keep us together.
I recently attended our gathering dinner at Puteri Restaurant, and it gave me the feeling of being in schoolagain.  I heard the same laughters and jokers cracking jokes that lit up the room. I had a great time at the gathering and the smile on my face lingered for days. My wife jokingly said I was under some kind of magic spell. Indeed she was right. my OLD FRIENDS spellbound me!  So, please take time off from your busy schedule to attend our next gathering.

It is my sincere hope that you will visit our
homepage regularly and keep in touch with old friends. The use of handphone SMS is a good idea for us to keep in touch. Just a few words to say hello and how are you? will brighten our day and make our hearts glow.

Once again, May I wish everyone happiness and best of health.

Thank You!

Hello All,

We are considered a lucky and happy group of Ex-St. Paulians, B'fort who are still keeping in touch with each other now and then. Personally, I have to thank Tony, Hendrew, Vincent and others who have put a lot of efforts to maintain this link for all of us. A quarter of a century after we left our loving school is not a short period of time. My experience taught me that there are not many good 10 years in one's life whether in one's career or business.
Going back the good old days in St.Paul, there are so many memories still flashing on my mind and in my dream no matter where I am. Our out-door biology project with Miss Goh was a good experience and I still remember that Hendrew Chin is the guy who bought us the food. Our Concord airplane project is a great team effort of the little "gang". Starting from the morning walk all the way to conquer the highest mountain in South-East Asia, Mt. Kinabalu is an excellent chapter of our life.

There are so many good parties and gatherings that I just could not review it here unless we meet and gather our aging memories together. This show that it is very important for us to meet now and then so that we can share our old good days as a group. If you don't have many in the past, the frequent gathering will also serve as an opportunity to build one for the future.

I have worked in many places and I found that Sabah is one of the best places on earth. Big city is good to visit but not to live. Most of the time, the true friends are those from the place you grew up and obtained your basic education. When one growing older, what he/she needs most is the old friendship. Let us move our chest forward and be happy to meet the challenges ahead. Value what we have and working hard for the future. Please don't forget our old friends including some who had left us.

I would like to wish all of you a very healthy and prosperous life ahead.

Kind regards,
Simon  Foo Ket Ken
