A COURTESY VISIT TO THE
CHIEF MINISTER.
By Ex St Paulian delegation

On 1st Aug, our School Board Chairman, Vincient Kok lead a delegation of ex-St Paulians to pay a visit to our CM, YAB Datuk Musa Aman at his office in Likas to sent the invitation card officially to him to attend the 50th Anniversary dinner. CM was very pleased to meet up with the delegation and he spend about 40 minutes listening to our chairman's briefing on the progress of the function and other school matters.

CM informed that he will not be available on the 9th as he was invited to Beijing to witness the opening ceremeony of Beijing 2008 Olympics. Therefore, he has proposed to our Chairman to postpone the dinner nite to 15th Aug as he is very keen to attend this function, which is an honour to St Pauls School. The venue will be changed from School Hall to Dewan Pak Musa. The CM has also pledged an amount of RM200K to the school. As other YBs will be invited as well, more pledges on fund raising for the school will be done on the dinner nite itself.

After the meeting, the delegation presented Anniversary souvenirs to the CM. The delegation adjourned for a coffee session at the Secret Recipee Restaurant at the
I-Borneo for a brief gathering before leaving for home.
