Help Your Children Learn at Home
(for families of children, pre-K - Grade 6)
A workshop with a mix of videos, hands-on activities, sharing time, and role-playing. Participants find out how to encourage their children's learning: general guidelines as well as dozens of appealing tutoring strategies and learning games in different subject areas, especially reading and math. Participants will be actively involved in constructing materials they can take home to use with their children. Each participant receives a tote bag of materials, including a parent handbook, a useful book for parents, and a book & tape set.
Cost: $2599 for up to 25 participants; only $60 per additional participant (max 40). Cost includes participants' materials, workshop fee, and presenter's travel expenses.
