William Perrin
Excerpt from a letter from C.C. Perrin to O.W. Perrin dated December 14, 1911
William settled in the Peters Colony before July 1, 1845 with his sons, Abner B. Perrin and George Perrin.
Below is a marker for the Muncey Massacre that took place in Collin County less than a mile southwest of the Leach-Thomas Cemetery.  William obtained the Muncey land at some point after the massacre.
Leach-Thomas Cemetery is located in a subdivision in Plano, Texas at Destin and Pensacola.  William is believed to be buried here.  The cemetery gets its name from the remaining 4 stones.  It was established on William's land that was passed down to one of his daughters who married a Thomas.
William is a great-great-grandfather of  Lyndon Baines Johnson.
William was born on October 15, 1800 in Garrard County, Kentucky.  He married Dicea Kerby (1798 - 1858) on May 25, 1820 in Garrard County, Kentucky.  They had 10 children.  William is listed in the 1850 Federal Census in Collin County, Texas.  The exact date of William's death is not known, but the consensus is that he died in the late 1850s in Texas.

In the same letter from C.C. Perrin to O.W. Perrin referenced above, C.C. stated  "William married his cousin Dicey Kirby 1819.  They raised the largest and healthiest family of all.  Their descendants are scattered over Texas, Okla, N. Mex. and Arizona."
