Virginia May Perrin
Virginia May was the only child of Alfred and Fannie Harbour Perrin to live to adulthood.  She was born June 6, 1883 and died March 25, 1944.  She apparently was called May.   In 1908, May graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  In 1910 she married Virgil C. Jones in Hunt County, Texas.  Below is their marriage license.  They apparently had no children.  May is buried at Nicholson Cemetery in Hunt County, Texas.  We have not found a gravestone or marker for her, but we have found two sources that report she is buried there.  There must have been a marker for her at one time.  Her parents, 2 siblings, and her in-laws, J.H. and Mary Jones, are buried there.  J.H. Jones has a headstone but we have not found one for his wife Mary.  Nicholson Cemetery is listed as her place of burial on her death certificate.  Virgil died in 1970 in California.  His ashes are buried at Sacramento City Cemetery in Sacramento, California.

WWI Draft Registration Card for May's husband Virgil C. Jones
May's death certificate.  Of interest is that fact that an inquest was held into her death which was caused by a fall on her porch.  They determined her death was accidental.
My first cousin twice removed
This picture shows where we think May and her mother-in-law, Mary Jones, may be buried at Nicholson.  It was taken before we had Afred and Fannie's stone set back on its pedestal in December 2006.
