| Christopher Columbus Perrin was born in the Paradise Community, Lamar County, Texas in 1848. Later in life he was known as Professor C. C. Perrin. He started the first school in Celeste, Texas (Hunt County) in 1887. It was called Perrin School and he was one of the 3 teachers on the faculty. The school later changed hands and names. He would remain "Professor Perrin" even after his death. C.C. Perrin married Ella Braly on May 14, 1890 in Hunt County, Texas. |
