Adolph Reinhold Swensson was 53 years old when he was naturlized. He came from Sweden and was employed as an Expressman at the time of his naturlization on the 2nd August 1899
During his time in New Zealand he had various other employment. With his wife, Clara Ward, the couple lived in the Wellington region and raised 10 children born between 1881 and 1900. Adolph died in 1918 and Clara died in 1943.
