The Callins Family descendants would like to recognize the academic acomplishments of our current and next generation of scholars. We'd like to recognize the following young people:
Dante B. has been accepted to Monmouth University and Bloomfield College, both in New Jersey with an offer of a four-year scholarship to each school. Dante B. has decided to attend Monmouth University in the fall and will recieve a $26,000 four-year scholarship to attend. He will be graduating high school in June 2006 as Senior Class president. Dante is the great-grandson of Lucy Callins-Lanier of Jones, Alabama. GO DANTE!!
Noah L. and his brother Nairobi L. have both been recently named "Student of the Month" at their elementary school, both for the second time. Nairobi L. recieved this recognition in January 2006 and Noah L. in March 2006. Nairobi L. has future plans on attending Texas Southern University and becoming an businessman. Noah L. wants to become a professional soccer player. Both are the great-grandsons o Lucy Callins-Lanier of Jones, Alabama. GO NAIROBI and NOAH!!
