"Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your family will be saved" (Acts 16:31)
Let the children come to me, do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Mark 10:14)

"Jump!" I yelled from the middle of a five-foot-deep pool at my then seven-year-old daughter who was standing at the edge. Without hesitation, she immediately jumped, not knowing that the water level was above her height, and not knowing whether I could reach her quickly or not. The only thing she knew was that she could trust me because I am her Papa.

Tell an adult to jump and you will get a different response: "How deep is it?"  "Is it cold?"  "I don't know how to swim." "You can't reach me immediately". We adults try to intellectualize, to analyze, to study the situation. We don't easily trust. We use our head, not our faith.

Today's reading reminds us to be childlike. God is our Father and He invites us to completely trust  Him. He is our Papa, our Daddy, our Tatay. We are children of God (Romans 8:16). Completely put your trust in Him and know that He will not leave you (Hebrews 13:5)

Are you still holding on to your problem? Let go and let God!

Heavenly Father, thank You for adopting me as Your child. I completely put my trust in You!
