| O Lord, our God, save us...that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone O Lord, are God. (2Kings 19:19) "I strongly suggest that you apply in other schools. It is very difficult to enroll here. There are over 200 applicants for Grade 1 alone, with only about 30 slots available." the school registrar told me. But I knew in my heart that my son would make it. A few weeks later, however, we received a letter saying that our son did not make it. To compound the problem, we could no longer re-enroll him in his former school because we already cancelled his slot. I was about to worry when I remembered we were only responding to God's will to transfer our son. So my wife and I went back to His Word and prayed, “Lord, You have allowed us to walk in faith this far. We know that you will not leave us alone. We are Your children and we know You will not put us to shame. Help us, Lord!” Confident in His Word, we went to the admissions office. Lo and behold, he was admitted! Joshua 1:9 says, "Be firm and steadfast! Do not fear or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you." Are you facing a blank wall? Get hold of the Word and believe! Jesus, thank You for Your Word. It is a lamp to my feet |
