| Kamui Gakuto (Camui Gackt, or just "Gackt"): Vocals - Composer - Lyricist - God? (Just kidding.) Birthdate: 07/04/1540... (but probably more around '73.) Blood Type: A Height: 180 cm. (About 5'11") Languages: Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, interest in many other languages as well. Likes: Cigarettes, BananaFish (a popular manga), coconut incense (which he eats... ^.~) Dislikes: Roaches Gackt nearly drowned when he was 7 or 8. After that, he says that he became psychic, and could see ghosts. He also sometimes suffered from kanishibarii (a type of waking seizure, where the chemical that keeps you immobile during sleep doesn't let up when you awaken). His parents were very strict, not letting him listen to rock music or watch t.v., aside from educational programmes. Gackt has mastered many instruments, and seems to have an obsessive desire to be the best at everything. He is very perfectionistic. Gackt was once also part of Malice Mizer, but went to pursue a solo career (which has turned out very well, might I add!) I think he may have liked the idea of having more freedom, solo, than having to depend on everyone else in a band for input. |

My God, this person has way too much free time. I have no idea how she does it. Regret: An older Gackt site, one of the first up. I'm so glad the owner decided to leave it running, although it has been shut down. There is a lot of stuff at this website that you will find nowhere else- and I mean that. There are tons of translated interviews here, amongst other things. So I suggest that if you find something you like, save that page! |
