Although, the Japanese have been known to put a face on ANYTHING... (ex. Hello Kitty CARS...) Languages: Japanese, some English, probably printed in other languages as well. As I understand the series so far (having little information availible to me at this time) God created Adam (a celestial being rarely seen, he is the second being below God) and two angels over the others. These angels had three wings, which distinguished their postion. They were Organic Angel Alexiel and Inorganic Angel Rosiel. Alexiel wages war on God with several rebel angels, and loses the battle. For this offense, she is not merely stripped of her wings, which would have caused her body to disintigrate and warp into a ghoul. No, her body was placed in a crystal in the Water Gardens of Heaven, and her soul was condemned to reincarnate eternally into a body on Earth, where it would die a brutal and horrible death each time. After this, Rosiel went slowly insane. Now in the present, he is searching for Alexiel- and when he finds her, unconscious in her host body with another soul, he will ressurect her and wage another war on Heaven to avenge her unfair punishment. He finds her resting in the body of a teenage boy named Setsuna... the Awakening begins. |
