Tom & I
This is me - Susan Wright Pohlman -
and my husband, Tom

I have been doing our family geneology for many years. I have met some wonderful "relatives" who have contributed a great deal, and have gotten back in touch with some that I fell out of contact with. The objective to doing this whole thing started out of curiosity of who I am, and has led to an incredible thirst for history. As I have uncovered information, I found that my grandfather, Richard Wright Sr. too, had a love of geneology & started researching our family back in the early 70's. I'm proud to continue his legacy.
It's been great going back in time, imagining what it was like in the United Kingdom in the 1600's, coming across the ocean to America in the 1700's, traveling along the coast and living in the South, leaving in a covered wagon for the great Northwest and Texas. Going deep into Mexico to grow from a new & exciting culture that is part of who I am, and spending time on the streets of Chicago in Al Capone's day. This is who our ancestors are, what they did, and where they lived. I hope that you enjoy these pages. If you have an ancestor's story you'd like to share, or would like to have your site linked to mine, please contact me. If you can't find the information your looking for, let me know. I have a lot more dates & places than I was able to put on the site as of yet.
