In the name of God Amen I James Robbins of Randolph County and State of
North Carolina being of sound and perfect Mind and memory blessed be
God do this this third day of August In the Year of our lord one
thousand seven hundred and ninety Nine make and publish this my last
will and Testament in Manner following that is to say.
In the first place my desire is for as much as my property to be sold
as will be sufficient to pay my just debts In the second place My will
is for my wife to have the land plantation and the remainder of my
movable property During her life or widowhood and at her death or
Marriage for my plantation to be rented out and the Rent and profits
for the use of schooling my Children and the remainder of my movable
proper [sic] to be sold And my wife to have a Childs part of it and the
remainder to be equally divided betwixt my Children And further my will
is for my land still to be rented Out till my youngest Son Haman Comes
of age and then to be sold and equally divided betwixt my four Children
And I do hereby make and ordain my friend Henry Yount and my wife
Elizabeth Robbins executors of this my last will And testament in
witness whereof I the said James Robbins have to this my last will and
testament Set my hand and seal the day and year above Written Signd
