I have an extensive genealogy of a John Robbins who came through Rhode Island and settled in Mattinecock,Long Island, in about 1645.I do not know from whence he came in England ! This line does not seem to have any connection to your Robbins'

I found your BENEKE site while doing a search on the surname of FRUECHTE. My two sons, Jeff and Nate, are connected to the CORDES, FRUECHTE and WIEGREFE families.
