It is believed that Elisha emigrated from Wales to North Carolina, stopping first in Virginia. The families appear throughout the North Carolina, Virginia, and Indiana areas

MARY WADE is supposed to have died at sea enroute to America
It's reported that HEPHZIBAH was a mean woman and mistreated the slaves. They rose up & murdered her. They found her head in a rain barrel. This was after most of the family had moved from Virginia to South Carolina.
