The lot and building are located near the center of town along the main bus route on a
   corner of a main intersection. It has high visibility and easy access.

The lot is about 124 feet long by 82 feet wide. The building has seven rooms, all of which
we could begin to use immediately without any adaptations apart from cosmetic improve-
ments, mostly just paint!

Its walls are 18 inches thick and the ceiling is very high -- all of which help in the hot sum-
mer temperatures. The building is 70 feet by 46 feet or about 3220 square feet.

All the above has been offered to us for just over $17,000 (US). We have put down all the
cash we have at the present time, $1,100 (US). There is just about $16,000 yet to pay.
We have agreed to raise the money by mid March 2002. We couldn't begin to build a
similar size building for the price they are asking for the building and land. The location
is ideal and the current building will meet our needs for several years to come, without
having to incur major construction.

Would you pray and ask the Lord if He would have you help us secure this property for
Bethel Baptist Church of Alhuey? We will do all we can, but we need help.

We are so grateful for those of you who have an heart-felt interest in missions and who
pray and support our family in the work of church planting in Mexico. Thank you for taking
the time to read this and even more, to pray for the salvation of souls and the planting of
more gospel lighthouses in such a needy land.

Currently the building is being rented as a pool hall. The largest room is
35 feet by 23 feet. We could seat almost 100 persons is this room, not to
mention utilizing the six other rooms: a kitchen,an office/ counseling room,
another side room that is 35 feet by 12 feet, and a three rooms in the back
that can be used for the nursery and other Sunday school classes. There is
also a side porch that could be used for additional seating and/or class-
rooms. The bathrooms are located behind the building and are completely
separate.
