| New Beginnings of Falmouth, Massachusetts is a support group of people who are single because they are divorced, separated, widowed, or never married but have lost a relationship. Many in the group are recently single again, and many have been single for a long time. Though predominantly over thirty, persons of all ages are welcome to attend. One of the many strengths of this group is the diversity in the backgrounds of our members. We address numerous issues confronting single adults, including physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of life. The program consists of outside speakers, small support/discussion groups, and social activities throughout the month. On Tuesday evenings, there are crisis support groups for newly windowed and separated/divorced individuals, and discussion groups for individuals who are no longer in crisis, but still would like support with various issues. Groups start promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church at 68 Main Street, Falmouth, Massachusetts. Members, guests and other newcomers not attending the support groups are invited to gather for fellowship and snacks at 7:30 p.m. There is a short business meeting after fellowship, and before the evening program.
