| American Buff-bellied Pipit - This bird was present in November 2007 near Lands End. Part of an influx into the UK with 2 on the IoS the same autumn. |

| Cattle Egret - Whilst the Falmouth Area had several, this photo relates to a bird near Drift Reservoir at the beginning of a record influx involving 50+birds in the Cornwall area in autumn 2007. |
| Chough - A pair from the Lizard population which naturally recolonised a few years ago. Very nice to have these back in Cornwall! |
| Glossy Ibis - 5 of a group of 7 birds which visited the Lizard Peninsula in mid 2007. Another 17 were spotted flying over the Helford Passage at a similar time. |
| Honey Buzzard - Stayed for a few days at Goonhilly Downs on the Lizard Peninsula in June, 2008. |
| Red-backed Shrike - A scarce bird in the whole of the UK now. This juv was at Porthgwarra in October 2006. |
| Ring-billed Gull - This vagrant american gull has been seen in Falmouth a few times but this bird was at Helston boating lake in early 2007 |
| Spoonbill - An impressive bird when awake (trust me!). This bird was at Wadebridge in early 2007. |

| Spotted Sandpiper - This juv bird overwintered in 2006-07 and showed well at the Hayle Estuary throughout. |
| White-billed Diver - Also in the Hayle Estuary, this bird showed excellently for several weeks in early 2007. |
