30th November 2006 - Swanpool + Pendennis Point
Shoveler - This lovely specemin was at the north-western end with coots and coming to bread, curiously tame tho!
Kittiwake - Good numbers offshore today with the southerly winds pressing them closer than they would normally fly. This is a juvenile with a characteristic black 'W'
Kittiwake - An adult this time, with the characteristic wing-tips which look as if they have been dipped in ink.
Gannet - Not as many as kittiwakes but some came close giving great views.
Med Gull - (near?)Adult in winter plumage moving along the shore.
Moorhen - On Swanpool lake.
Tufted Ducks - Males on swanpool.
Tufted Duck - Female on Swanpool.
