split 7" with Wellington - Fetus Records

This was another real loser of a record. It was recorded in the late summer of 1995 and I suppose that it was released sometime in 1996 on Fetus Records. There weren't any on colored vinyl, at least I didn't get any and I don't know how many were pressed, I hope not too many.

I remember getting the tape of the Wellington song and thinking that it was the heaviest sounding thing ever. I wanted our song to be heavy like that too, so Dan and I got together and messed with the recording of "Broke" that went on that and got it to sound really heavy and close to how Wellington's song sounded. Something happened in the transfer of our recording to vinyl or in mastering or something because the end result sounded like absolute shit. I was so pissed when I got my copies in the mail. I was super bummed and I wished that I could have listened to the test pressings of that album. I want to apologize for that record to everyone who bought it and continues to pay money for that complete waste of 3.5 inches of vinyl. The Wellington song fucking ruled though.

Dan, Damon, and I lived in the College Court basement at the time. This house had a big impact on my life. I met my wife there and I got to watch my brother have sex in our front room. It was totally hot!!! Rats shit on our silverware in that house. Gross.
