This was recorded sometime in 1997 at FSU studios. I had a bad cold so my voice sounded like shit. The crowd was pretty good and the venue was also really cool. Totally illegal and very cold out in Sparks, Nevada. I don't remember how many of those were pressed cause I didn't put it out. It was released on Omega Records out of New York by a kid named Ian. He worked at CBGB's in New York City so he could get really cool live recordings from touring bands. There were a lot of really good bands on that comp. and a few not so good bands. Disembodied and Converge were the bands that stuck out for most people, but there were plenty of others on it but I can't remember cause these Asian people are talking too loud and it is distracting me (editors note: Endeavor, Coalesce, Still I Rise, and Coercion were also on the comp.) I wish I owned my own computer at home so I wouldn't have to deal with these fucking public library computers. Some of the songs from that set were also put on the 1997 CD/EP because Ian wouldn't put them on his compilation. Ummm, not too much to say about this release. All of the original versions of the songs that made the comp were already released: "Unneccessary Decoration" and "Broke" were both on No Strength to Suffer. discography |
