Recorded in the winter of 1995 and released in June of 1995. There were 500 of these on white vinyl only. The recording is really shitty and we didn't play our instruments very well. We were a new band and we had only played one show before we put out the record. The pictures on the inside of the sleeve of the "live" show were actually taken in our practice spot (in Tom Ryan's spare bedroom) with a bunch of our friends acting like it was a show. It was silly and the record should have never come out, but it did, and now we have to live with it. I am glad that only 500 were pressed and 200 of them are probably warped in Reno kids' bedrooms who have never owned a record player in their entire lives. I probably sent out 30 of these to zines and distro's who probably threw them in the garbage. That record got some of the worst reviews I have ever read in my entire life. I wanted to quit the band after every bad review, but I knew we could do better than that. Dean Christopher of Gehenna sang back ups on the record. We put the record out ourselves and we didn't have our own label yet. I can't think of anything else that was cool about this record. Oh, it came with a sticker. We all lived in the same house at the time it came out. Damon, Dan, Brian and I lived in the Skyview Apartments by the Super Kmart. It was a really fun time in all of our lives discography |
