This years journey on the Quest for a Vision was the most beautiful experience of all my quests. Now I had planned to go to Chattanooga at a waterfall down there but, the very day I was to leave everything went wrong. At first I thought maybe I am not suppose to go. This was not the case as a thought ran through my brain no you are supposed to go; I had prepared for 1 month prior and asking Great Spirit where I should go the waterfall that my friend Kathy told me about dropped into my head. Even in the face of almost not going I knew I had to go so, calling Paula a friend of mine that said she would give me a ride picked me up at 5:30. Everything was outside that I was taking on the trip and we packed it up in her vehicle. It was a nice drive there we enjoyed the senery as well. Along the way we came across a turtle that we stopped and took along with us to the site. We shared in many topics on the ride there and it was delightful to have this time to share our thoughts. Paula is a wonderful friend! After arriving I climbed up the side of the waterfall where I was going to set up the tent, medicine wheel, and fire pit. The first night fell and I was sitting on the vine enjoying the falls at the top! There are 5 tiers to the falls and I was at the first set. Since my Native name is Falling Waters (another name for waterfalls) this was appropriate for me to be here and I was expecting great things from this time here. Water is the element I love most, than the earth, I am a Taurus, with a Moon in Cancer and a rising sign of Virgo, earth, water, earth. I figure that water has always had a stronger influence in my life as I have loved water since far back as I can remember especially waterfalls. I am going to do more on this please be patient as I work so much and don't have time to do the writing for the Vision Quest!
