To Last a Lifetime Prologue: If at first you don't succeed...

Okay, this story takes place during the whole Rainbow Crystal thing. Diamond, being the obsessive villain that he is decides to try and alter time, AGAIN.

Disclaimer: We certainly don't own Sailor Moon, some big-wig executives do. Suing us will not gain anything, since we probably have about twenty bucks between us. So sit back and enjoyA lone man sits on his throne in a dark room staring at an image. Another man walks in.

"Diamond, you're still not obsessing over Neo-Queen Serenity, are you? Your last attempt failed miserably."

"I do not need you to remind me of my failures Sapphire. I will have her."

"How do you plan on doing that? It's obvious that she's in love with that Tuxedo Mask person."

"I will simply have to win her over BEFORE she meets him."

Wiseman appears.

"Prince Diamond, I have found the time you seek. A word of warning though, you must win her over before the Silver Imperium Crystal appears, otherwise all is lost."

"Yes, Wiseman, I will remember that." With that, he steps into a portal into the past...

Serena enters the arcade with a happy smile.

"Hey Andy!" She says happily to the blond guy behind the counter.

"Hey Serena. What would you like for today?" He asks with a smile.

"Chocolate milkshake!" She answers happily.

Not long after the milkshake was placed in front of her, a deep voice called out, "Well, if it isn't Meatball Head."

A scowl replaced her smile. "What do you want, Jerk?" She asks, narrowing her eyes.

"Nothing. Just wondering when you're going to take that diet I told you about."

He says with a sly smile. She has the sudden urge to knock all his teeth out. Instead, she swallows it all in. She had a great day, she wasn't going to let this Jerk ruin it for her.

With a smile to Andrew, she starts to leave.

But not before throwing a scrunched up napkin at Darien.

She leaves in a huff to the park.

Serena walks through the park with a scowl on her face.

Her fight with Darien really got her upset.

Unknowing to her, she was being watched by a pair of purple eyes.

'Serenity' Diamond thinks as he watched the beauty who looked deep in thought. His eyes darken immediately. 'You will be mine. That I swear. I will have you in my arms before Endymion does.' He thinks, before disappearing with a dark mist. Serena turns towards the trees.

"I could have sworn I saw someone there..." She says, gazing intensely at the trees, where Diamond was.
