You'll have to forgive me if I haven't been updating my multi-parters but well, 
they're coming, slowly, but they are coming. This is actually my first story but 
I just haven't gotten around to finishing it, 'til now. Hope you like it! And oh 
yeah, feedback will be gratefully appricated.

PROLOUGE

	A battle is being waged in Crystal Tokyo. Neo-King Endymion and Neo-Queen 
Serenity are fighting a mysterious enemy in a dark cloak. The woman draws forth 
a ball of energy into her hands.
	"Now it's time for you to die!"  
	She throws the ball of energy at the royal couple causing a vortex to 
appear and engulf them.
	"NOOO!!!!!!!!!" Rini, now a young woman cries.  "You'll pay for this!" 
Rini uses the silver crystal to throw the woman into the vortex as well, just as 
it disappears.
	Rini falls to her knees crying as the other scouts try to comfort her.

	"Class this is a new student, Celeste Hart. She has just transferred here 
form New York, so please make her feel welcome."
	The small young girl looks bashfully at the crowd. A pair of glasses dull 
two perfect golden eyes, long azure hair braided back, bangs that completely 
covered her forehead, and two small tendrils of hair falling on either side of 
her face. She sits down where the teacher tells her to and says nothing 
throughout the whole class.

	"Celeste." Serena says, as she and her friends sit down for lunch, "What a 
pretty name."
	"Yeah," Molly replies, "but she won't say a word. I mean, it's like she's 
totally stuck up!"
	The four friends agree, Serena however held back.
	"Maybe she's shy." Serena says as she sees Celeste sitting under a tree, 
reading a book. "I'm going to talk to her."
	With that, Serena gets up and walks over to the new girl. 
	"Hi, you're Celeste, right?" The girl nods, still reading her book. "It's 
nice to meet you Celeste, I'm Serena Tsukino." 
	Celeste raises her gaze up to Serena's eyes, her own holing a small bit of 
surprise.
	"It's nice to meet you too," She says shyly.
	"Would you like to sit with me and my friends? Where over by that large 
group of trees."
	Celeste nods and gets up.
	"Huh?" Molly says shocked, as her earlier attempts to talk to Celeste 
failed miserably.
	"Leave it to Serena to make friends with anyone." Melvin stated simply. 
The others nod, two of them remembering how lonely the school was before Serena 
became their friend.
	"Hi guys, you all know Celeste, Celeste these are my friends: Molly, 
Melvin, Amy, Lita and Mina. Please sit down." 
	Celeste takes a seat beside Serena.
	"So, what were you reading?" Amy asks.
	"As You Like It."
	"What?" Lita asks, not sure if she heard Celeste right.
	"It's a play by Shakespeare."
	"Oooo, I love Shakespeare." Serena says dreamily. 
	The others sweat drop. The thought of Serena reading and UNDERSTANDING Old 
English was beyond anyone's comprehension. Then Serena does something that 
surprise's everyone there.
	She starts to recite it.
	"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day..."
	"Thou art more lovely and more temperate." Celeste continues.
	"So, Serena," Molly says deciding to be the one to ask the question that 
was on everyone's mind, "when did you learn about Shakespeare? You were asleep 
for that lesson."
	"I picked up a little when I was helping Darien study for a test."
	"Oh so that's how your grades have gotten better!" Lita jokes. "Your 
genius boyfriend's been helping you!"
	Serena glares at Lita. "He helps me study, so what the big deal about 
that?" Serena turns to Celeste. "Darien's my boyfriend, but I guess you've 
figured that out already, huh? Do you have a guy?" Celeste blushes and nods.  
That causes the group to go into gossip mode. 
	They all crowd around the poor young girl like dogs waiting for their 
master to give them some scraps from a table.
	"Well?"
	"He's wonderful...so caring and warm...he gave this to me as a promise 
that we'll always be together."
	Celeste hold out her wrist revealing a charm bracelet, she searches it for 
a second, before picking out a single charm. Two golden hearts entwined 
together. 
	It didn't escape everyone's attention that she also had symbols of all the 
planets on her bracelet, along with a few constellations.
	"Pretty interesting charms." Amy comments. 
	"I want to be an astronomer." Celeste says, "the stars fascinate me."
	"I knew someone like that," Molly says a little sadly, trying her best to 
keep Nephlyte from her mind.
	"Anyway," Serena says quickly changing the subject for Molly's benefit. "I 
feel like playing some 'Sailor V' anyone else wanna come with me?" 
	Everyone agrees except Molly and Melvin, who have a date later that day.

	The girls sit in a booth and order sundaes. Celeste stares in awe as 
Serena finishes her second hot fudge sundae as the others are about half done 
and she's barely touched hers.
	"Wow." Celeste managed to say. "Do you eat like that all the time?" Serena 
blushes as an answer. "My goodness! I'd kill to have your metabolism."
	"Metaba-what?" Serena asks, the spoon halfway in her mouth.
	"Metabolism: the rate at which food burns in a human body." Amy, the 
walking textbook supplies. "She's right Serena. If anyone else ate the way you 
do with that little exercise, they'd be enormous!"
	"Maybe she burns a lot of calories sprinting to school." A deep voice says 
behind her. 
	"Darien!" Serena says before lunging herself at him, laughing.
	Celeste absent-mindedly thinks that it reminds her of silver bells.
	"Celeste, this is my boyfriend Darien, Darien this is my new friend 
Celeste."
	"Hi."
	"Hello." Celeste says shyly, before a beep interrupts her thoughts. The 
others look at her as she glances at her watch. "My alarm went off." She 
supplies. "I have to get home now, it's been nice meeting you!"
	Celeste leaves as Raye walks in.
	"Who was that?" 
	"Her name's Celeste, she just moved here." Serena says.  "She's kinda 
weird, but very nice."
	"I sense that there's something strange about her."
	"DO you mean she might be an enemy?"
	"No, but..." Raye was cut off, however, when hear screams of panic through 
the streets. The group transforms and rushes outside.

	A large UGLY monster was roaming around the streets. The spiked collar and 
the fact that it walked around on all fours, reminded Sailor Moon of a demented 
pit bull. A cloaked figure walked next to it. It looked female and she seemed to 
be looking for something...
	"Hold it right there!" Sailor Moon shouts. 
	The masked woman chuckles. "Pitiful."
	"Mia!" 
	The woman turns to another girl. The scouts look like they're going to 
drop dead at what they saw.
	A sailor scout? 
	The girl wore spiked boots that ended mid-thigh, long gloves, small 
crystal earrings, and a long bow in the back.  She had long azure hair partially 
done up in two buns, so her long hair flowed behind them, {AN: Think Shampoo 
from Ranma 1/2} a jewel in each. The tiara had not one, but three stones, each 
shining brightly. She had a mask similar to Sailor V's, so they could not see 
her eyes.
	"Oh, look. If it isn't the last little Sailor Scout. How did you follow me 
here?"
	"You forgot. Sailor Pluto controls time. A version of her came to take me 
here. I'm going to stop you."
	"You? You just got your powers! How are you going to stop me?"
	"Hey! How dare you ignore us!" Jupiter shouts. "Jupiter thunder clap, 
Zap!"
	Mia and the monster dodge it quickly. "Hmph! That was rude! Well, I'll see 
you later, I've got things to do." With that, they disappear. Leaving the scouts 
and the mysterious newcomer speechless in the street.
	"Um, excuse me," Sailor Moon says. "but who are you?"
	The girl looks nervous for a second before smiling, "I am Sailor Earth, 
and I am here to help." Taking a deep bow, she vanishes into the air.
						*****
That night...

"I honestly have no idea." Luna says to Serena "Technically speaking, Tuxedo Mask is the Sailor Scout of the Earth."
Serena stares into the night. "I just don't get it Luna. If that girl was 
sailor scout, shouldn't we have known about it?"
Serena whisks around suddenly.
"What if she comes from a time that doesn't have Tuxedo Mask, the past or 
future!"
Luna, after getting over the shock of Serena having an intelligent 
thought, says, "That's a good possibility."
"Hey Serena!" Sammy yells into her room. "I'm not you're answering 
machine! Some girl named Celeste called."
"Celeste? Did she leave her number?"
"No she said something about going shopping tomorrow, you can talk to her 
at school." 
Rini walks into the room and sits next to Serena. "You'd better tell that
 Celeste girl that she can't go shopping with you tomorrow."
"What? Why?"
"You're watching after me tomorrow, remember?"
"Hmm...Rini, why don't you come with us?"
"Really?"
"Yeah, Raye says Celeste is different and I'd like to keep an eye on her."

The next day of school went by slowly. During Gym class, Serena thought 
she saw something when Celeste wiped her forehead, but quickly dismissed it. 
'Serena, you're getting paranoid.'
*****
After School

"Celeste, would it be all right if I brought my cousin with me?"
"Oh, that would be fine, I love kids!"
"Hey!" Rini comes running up giving Serena a quick hug.
"Rini this is Celeste, Celeste, this is my cousin Rini."
Rini looks at Celeste and smiles.
"Hi. You're pretty."
Celeste blushes. "I'm not, but thank you."
"Well, well, well. Isn't this a pretty picture."
The cloaked women steps forward.
"Now I can end the whole blood-line."
Rini clings to Celeste as Serena steps forward. "Who are you? What do you 
want?"
"To see everything my family holds dear destroyed."
A rose is thrown at her. The woman catches it.
"A rose? YOU were going to stop ME with a ROSE?" The woman starts to laugh 
hysterically. "Oh...It's too funny!"
The three girls took the opportunity to run, Celeste running in a 
different direction then Rini and Serena.
"Hey! Nega-creep!" The woman turns around to see Sailor Moon and Mini-Moon 
there.
A small black swirl starts to form from her fingertips...
"Mia, stop this!" Sailor Earth shouts.
"Oh, would you quit being such a goody-two-shoes?!"
"Rose Petal Storm!" 
A large swirl of red rose petals attack the cloaked woman. They shredded 
the cloak and cut the mask into two pieces.
Deep blue, almost black, eyes stared back at them, long orange hair done 
up in two buns. And on her forehead was...
A crescent moon?!
"Oh, you'll pay for that!" Mia says as she disappears.
"Um...did I see what I thought I saw?" Sailor Moon asks, confused.
"I saw it too." Tuxedo Mask says turning to Sailor Earth. "I think we 
deserve an explanation."
"Yes, of course. Is there a place where we can talk Mr. Chiba?"
Tuxedo Mask steps back in shock. "H-how?"
"I'm from the future. I know every thing about you."
"So who are you?" Mini-Moon asks.
"I can't tell you that. You know too much about the future as it is."
"We understand. We can talk at my apartment."
"I shall meet you there." She says while disappearing into thin air.
"I gotta see if she can teach me that trick." Sailor Moon murmurs.

Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-Kind Endymion are fighting a cloaked figure.
The woman puts her hands out in front of her creating a Vortex. Just 
before being swallowed up in the Vortex, Serenity throws the Silver Crystal to 
her daughter.

"You see," Sailor Earth explains once they reach the apartment, "You two 
die in a battle many years from now, or perhaps it would be better to say lost."
"Lost?" Sailor Moon says, cocking her head to the side in confusion.
"Yes a creature came and sucked you up into a Vortex. Out of grief your 
daughter condemned it to the same fate. Then during my time, it was freed..."

Two girls walk through a field, laughing and carefree. Then with out 
warning, a Vortex appeared....
Before they had time to react an object comes and wraps itself around the 
girls...

"I was there as well. It came after both of us but I resisted. From what I 
can tell, it preys on negative emotions. Mia, for instance, is the leader of the 
Sailor Scouts in my time. But she's a bit of a klutz, and...well, she has little 
to no self-esteem." 
Darien and Rini take a quick glance at Serena before turning their 
attention back to the scout of Earth.
"It used her insecurities to get to her. She went back in time to try and 
kill you, before you rise to power."
"The crescent moon was on her forehead. Does that mean..."
"She is not you descendent. When the darkness too over, it gave her what 
she thought was denied to her. You see, even tough she was the leader of the 
Sailor Scouts, the queen's daughter is the heir to Crystal Tokyo. She seemed 
perfectly all right with it, but I guess she wasn't"
"So this Mia girl is trying to kill one or all of the three of us." Darien 
says coldly.
"To destroy the blood line so she can rule." Sailor Earth stares at Serena 
and Darien and smiles slightly. "I never thought I'd meet you. You're almost a 
legend in my time. I'm going to do everything in my power to protect you."
Sailor Moon returns the smile to an obviously upset girl. "So, do we live 
up to your expectations?"
"There's a statue of you in Palace Gardens. Your daughter constructed it 
after you were lost in the Vortex. It doesn't do you justice."
A thought just recently occurred to Serena. "Where are the other Sailor 
Scouts? Shouldn't they be with you?"
"No, she captured the others before she left, I'm the only one left." Her 
smile fades and she punches the wall. "Damn it!"
She turns around tears falling down from her mask. "I can't do this! I'm 
not strong enough!" 
Sailor Moon was at her side in a second. "Don't doubt yourself! You were 
the only one who wasn't captured!" 
"No! She didn't throw me in the Vortex because she knew I couldn't stop 
her! I just got my powers!"
"Would you quit that infernal whining!?" Mia says as she appears in 
Darien's apartment. "You're giving me a migraine."
"Serena! Use the crystal! Heal her!"
Sailor Moon reaches for her crystal.
"Hmph! You think you can stop me?" The Vortex appears as Sailor Earth 
lunges forward. Mia uses a burst of energy to knock her into the wall, shredding 
her mask in the process.
Sailor Moon gasps when she sees two perfect golden eyes...
"Celeste?"  
The crystal glows as Celeste pulls herself into the Vortex along with Mia.
"Celeste!" Sailor Moon calls out. The only thing left of her new friend 
was a small charm: Two golden hearts entwined together...

Inside the Vortex, Mia has recovered and is ready for a counter assault.
"How dare you!" She hisses.
"Lumis!" A voice calls out. Mia and Sailor Earth turn around to see the 
Sailor Scouts.. and ...
Neo-King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity?!
"How?" Sailor Earth asks.
"My dear child, time is obsolete in the Vortex." Neo-Queen Serenity says 
before turning to Mia. "Lumis! Release the girl!"
"Now why would I want to do a silly little thing like that?" Mia smiles 
evilly.
"I may not have the Silver Crystal with me but I assure you that you can 
be defeated."
Sailor Earth takes he broach off, turning her back into Celeste, and 
throws it at Neo-Queen Serenity. 
"Here!"
"Thank you." Neo-Queen Serenity says as she turns on Mia. The crystal 
grows bright as Mia screams.
Mia seems to separate into 2 separate entities, the one that Neo-Queen 
Serenity and Neo-King Endymion fought years ago and the woman that Celeste has 
known since she was born.
With out Lumis Mia looked considerably different. The crescent moon and 
long hair was replaced with short brown hair and soft pink eyes.
"What...What happened?" Then realization dawns on her face and memories 
flood back to her.  "Oh no! What have I done?"
"Leave!" The former queen of Crystal Tokyo commands. 
The Vortex appears again, Neo-Queen Serenity waves her hand making the 
scouts fly through it.
"But..." Celeste calls "What about you?"
"We have to say here and keep Lumis under control. Leave!"
"NO!" 
Neo-Queen Serenity smiles and throws the locket back to Sailor Earth as 
she and her husband hold hands and concentrate their energy to contain Lumis.
Celeste continues to protest as she fades into unconsciousness.

"Celeste?"
The blue haired girl opens her eyes to see the resident cat, Selene, 
hovering over her.
"Are you all right?"
"Yeah, Selene," Celeste replies getting up slowly. "I'm fine. How's Mia 
doing?"
"She's not doing well..."
Celeste gets up, not noticing that she's still in her school uniform, and 
walks down she hall. She bangs on a door.
"Go away." The voice calls back.
Celeste proceeds to bang harder. "Mia Serena Tsukino, you had better open 
that door!!"
Mia opens the door to reveal her tear-stained face.
"Why? You all hate me?"
The girls make their way to Celeste's bed and sit down.
"Come on! We don't hate you! Open up! Talk to us!"
"Why do you want to talk to me? There's no excuse for what I've done!"
"Snap out of it Mia! The only reason you were so easily fooled is this 
whole lack of self-esteem! C'mon! You're 29 years old for goodness sake!"
"Then why do I feel like such a child?"
The conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in." Mia says, desperate for a way out of this conversation.
The Queen of Crystal Tokyo comes in, and following in the tradition of her 
mother, she refused to let any of her friends call her anything but Rini.
"I thought we should talk." The pink haired woman matured quite 
dramatically after her parents capture. She is now a mother and is determined to 
keep what's left of her family together.
She ruffles Mia's hair playfully.
"You are my cousin after all. Celeste, dear, please leave us alone to 
talk. And don't forget that there's a ball tonight, so you might want to 
change."
Celeste nods her head and leaves.

A young girl walks through the gardens. She stops in front of a monument, 
two statues.
She drops down in front of them, not caring about her long flowing gown or 
her long azure hair partially done up in two buns. She looks at the statues with 
two perfect golden eyes.
"I-I don't understand." She says brushing her bangs out of her eyes to 
reveal a crescent moon on her forehead. "Why did you stay? You could have used 
the crystal and left!"
"Celeste." 
Celeste turns around to see Rini come up and stand next to her. 
"They had to stay in order to keep Lumis from escaping."
"Why can't they just kill it?"
"Lumis is immortal. Nothing we know of can kill it. Until we do...I guess 
they're trapped."
"I'll free them!" Celeste proclaims proudly, jumping to her feet. "Just 
watch and see Mother! I'll set them free!"
Rini chuckles slightly and smoothes down her hair.
"Mom, how's Mia?" Celeste asks in a serious tone.
"She's fine, a couple of stories about how easily some of the other scouts 
were possessed cheered her up a bit. She'll be back to normal in a few days."
"Was Aunt Hotaru ever possessed?"
"Yes she was actually.  That wasn't the best thing for her since she was 
very frail and weak at the time, but she got better."
"She was your best friend right?"
"Mm-hmm. Sailor Saturn. She married my Uncle Sammy. No one saw it coming. 
And speaking of marriages..." Rini holds out a charm, two hearts intertwined. 
"You're fiancé wouldn't take it very well if you lost this, especially since 
it's so close to the wedding."
Celeste looks at her charm bracelet and blushes slightly when she notices 
that it's missing. She takes the golden charm from her mother and puts it back 
on her bracelet.
"I'm very proud of you Celeste."
"I can't believe I broke down and cried in front of you."
"I understand. Being a Sailor Scout puts a lot of pressure on you. Imagine 
my surprise when I discovered you were the first Sailor Earth."
"Not really." Celeste turns her gaze to the statues. "He kind of beat me 
to it."
Rini stares mournfully at the statures as Celeste continues. "I can't 
believe I got to meet them. They were so nice to me. Do you miss them Mother?"
"Yes, very much." Rini replies turning her gaze from the statues. "Let's 
get going Celeste we have a ball we must attend soon."
Celeste nods and walks ahead as Rini stays behind for a moment to wipe the 
tears from her eyes.
"I love you." She whispers before joining her daughter.
The sun sets over the horizon, catching everything in its path. The light 
hits the statues. 
A couple in each other's embrace.
The plaque underneath them glistens for a moment.
It simply reads:

Neo-King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity. The first King and Queen of Crystal Tokyo. Died July 18, 3019 defending the city from evil. Together forever.

Celeste stops for a moment, in the distance she thought she heard the 
faint laughter that reminded her of silver bells. 
She takes one last look at the statues, the setting sun leaving a small 
orange aura around them.
"Someday...someday soon, you'll be free. I promise!"
