>>It was the fifth of December when the San Antonio Spurs played against Orlando Magic and started their eleven-winning streak. Twenty-one days later, the two teams met once again, at Spurs' homecourt, the SBC Center.
>>Tony Parker who was still hot from his game against the Clippers, sunk in the first two points in the first possesion of the game. Orlando was leading 14-9 when Coach of the Year Gregg Popovich called a time-out. Rob Horry came in and gave four quick points for his team. Jason Hart replaced Parker within the last minute of the first quarter, which ended with 20-28, now in the Spurs' favor.
>>The Spurs held on to their lead and had a nine-point lead in
the half of the quarter. Magic kingpin Tracy McGrady scored 16 points and got five rebounds, while Spurs' big man Tim Duncan had 14 points and grabbed ten rebounds. The first half ended with a ten point difference at 40-50.
>>The third quarter started with the Magic geared up and within four minutes, they closed the lead to two. But Duncan lengthed it back to four in the freethrow line. Hot Tony Parker scored in 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and gave five assists while giving good decision and plays to his teammates in the early half of the quarter. Emmanuel Ginobili released the three-point ball just in time the buzzer sounded for the end of the quarter but the ball merely grazed the rim. The shot could've made the lead into seven poins, but the quarter ended 70-74.
>>The fourth quarter wasn't much different from the other quarters. Orlando trailed behind the Spurs with six points. Magic had their last shot with 3 seconds left in the game, preceeded by their shot 6:40 minutes before. The final score was 83-98, where T-Mac gave 24pts, 8rebs, and 4asst, and Duncan 27pts, 16rebs, and 4asst. Rob Horry and Parker had their season highs in the game--Tony with 22points, and Horry with 14pts and 7reb.
**When nearing the one minute mark of the fourth quarter, I'm not sure if I'm just hallucinating, but I think I heard Chingy's "Right Thurr" playing at SBC Center.

Here I will compile most of my recent articles, but so far, it's all basketball. But in the coming weeks, I'll come up with new articles about videogames and music. You could post comments on the Guestbook. Thank you. ~06~
