In Megaman X5, you will start off at the beginning with the force armour.But other armour upgrades are required to find hidden secrets and more.In this series ,there will be 2 new armour upgrades to be introduced.One is the Falcon Armour and the other is the the Gaea Armour.
The Falcon Armour has the ability to hover around the area while the Gaea armour can walk on spike but these armour hve got their own side effects.
FALCON ARMOUR.

The leg upgrade of the falcon armour can be found in the grizzly slah' area.It is before a maverick taxi.You will see an opening on the top .Try kicking up all the way up the opening.

This is the head upgrade for the falcon armour.Eight energy items mut be collected at the beginning when riding the Ride Chaser.X will automatically shot those energy items at the hidden passage and an opening will be revealed.

And in izzy glows' tage, you can find the hand upgrade of the falcon armour.It is in area two and you must have the C-Shot to get to the armour upgrade.Destry the defense plasma and a path will be seen.

tTo complete the falcon armour, play through the marine area and defeat DuffMcwhalen.Then go back to DuffMcwhalens' stage.The armour upgrade can be seen along the way and to get it, execute the goo shaver through a small opening below.
GAEA ARMOUR.

Have you ever dreamed of diving into an ocean of lava.Now is the chance to try it out.Get into the mecha suit and go exploring into the sea of lava.You will eventually bump into the hand upgrade for the gaea armour at the other end of the sea of lava.Worth a dive, don't you think so!

Heh, this is kinda hard to explain but....I will try.Complete the falcon armour, then play through the skivers' area.There will be a moving platform and it is the one moving downwards not upwards.Then you will have to go through a door.Then start your engines and hover all the way up after you went through the door.

Splash the bug (Izzy Glow).Shoot the bug( F-Laser).Control the bug (using the controller).This upgrade is located engaging a fight with Dark Dizzy.

Heh, this armour upgrade is well hidden and I did not suspect that there will be a armour upgrade just above me for the first time I played the game.If you are observant enough , try ee the pikes and locate the armour upgrade yourelf.It i kinda tough for me to explain it.it i located in the axle the reds' stage.
