ARMOUR.
Megaman x6 armour parts are scattered all around the stages.They are quite easy to be located but I will include in this section to complete my walkthrough.The function of these armours are almost the same and it is to complete your other upgrades and to play through some of the stages.It is a must to complete these armour parts to get through the advance stages.
There are eight parts of armour to be collected and it consists the blade armour and the shadow armour.
BLADE ARMOUR.

The leg upgrade of the blade armour can be found in Amazon Area.It is at the right hand side of the first gap where you must jump into.There will be a big green bug blocking the way while while giving birth (heh).There are no other obstacles and it is 1 of the easiest armour to get to.

The body armour can be found in Inami Temple.It is at the far end of the Inami Temple before you fight rainy turtloid.There will be spikes at the top and bottom of the creen.What makes it tough is the small opening between the spikes.You jut need some accuracy to dash through.If you find it tough to get through, you may find it quite absurb but i'm using this way and it is to get damage by the gloom.When X or Zero haven't fully recovered, dash through the spikes quickly and you will be standing in front of the capsule in no time.Did you noticed that I damaged X a little bit on the image.

The head armour can be found in the Central Museum.I don't have to describe the area in detail cozz the stages in Central museum are random.It will just appear if you are lucky.

You can find the head armour in the Weapon Center.Defeat Illuminia for the 2nd time and go through the portal.In the 2nd area ,go in the opposite direction of where X is facing.
SHADOW ARMOUR.

You need any description to get to the body armour.I don't think so.It is located in Laser Institute.

The leg upgrade of the shadow armour is located in Northpole Area.You need to complete the blade armour or use zero to get to this armour upgrade.At the far end, you will find a ladder to go down but instead , you will need to dash upwards and you will reach a new platform.

The head upgrade of the shadow armour is located in the Recycle Lab.Keep on going through the level as usual.Then you will see a ladder.Don't go down the 1st ladder..Instead , try your luck to get in further through the deadly dump crusher.Then get down through the 2nd ladder.I can't find any way to get to the armour but to use the ice burst to decrease the distance between the gap.Then try jumping over the ice block you created and jump as far as you can to reach the other end.

The hand upgrade is located in the Magma Area.After defeating the 2 mechaniloids, you have to go through a door or what ever it is.get to the highest point in the screen and do a dash upwars using the blade armour.There are many way to get to the top and this is just one of them.
As you have realise,I'm using the dark armour and my purpose is to get through the stages quickly to finish off this part of walkthrough.
