To the raindrops falling Silently, hopelessly, From the starry heavens I don't understand why, but I can read their thoughts Conntect to their souls the vicious circle they are forced into Until the end of time... I don't understand why I can still feel their pain Surrendering to emotions And willing to risk everything To live happily once again I don't understand why, but a part of me is missing And I have been here too many times Yet I still fall into the endless ocean And evaporate into a make-believe world of innocence and happiness... I don't understand why My emotions fall onto paper, To form a hurricane of poetry, And yet i still cannot explain Why i've become so empty... and hopeless... and lifeess.... And I don't understand why surrender,... and fall.... like the rain, Until the end... of time... |
