- The Raven - By Edgar Allen Poe
- This has to be one of my favourite poems of all time. It gives me
chills when I read it. Poe is surely the master of suspense & the
macabre. If you've not read it before, please do so now.
- Childe Roland To The Dark Tower Came - By Robert Browning
- I studied this poem in high school as part of an English literature
assignment. I loved it, it is an epic. The word "childe" is
Old English and means knight. Incidentally, Stephen King has written a
series of four books inspired by this poem. I think it is the best of
King's work.
- If - By Rudyard Kipling
- This poem represents part of how I strive to live my life. It is a
great poem which I think represents the better part of the famous
"British Resolve".
