| Tristan awoke a few hours later. He had a splitting headache and when he rubbed his head he realized he was bleeding. He looked around him and he remembered everything that happened. He cried out when he saw Diana lying on the floor completely out. He ran over to her. �Oh God, she killed herself so she wouldn�t hurt me. Why did you do this? Why?� He held her close to him afraid to let go for a second. He cried tears of anguish and loss over his lost love. Then something miraculous happened! The ring that he wore began to glow. He saw that Diana�s ring was glowing too. He looked at this in shock and amazement. He tore his eyes away from the rings to look at Diana�s face. Her eyes fluttered open! He hugged her tightly and smiled wide. �Oh babygirl.� He said gently, �I thought I lost you.� �The last thing I remember was feeling the sun on me before everything went dark.� �I thought you had died. Don�t ever leave me again, understand?� �I will never leave you for as long as I live.� She smiled at him. He noticed something different about her. �Diana! You don�t have fangs anymore!� he exclaimed. �I don�t?� she felt her teeth. �They�re gone! But if they�re gone, that means�� �You�re not a vampire anymore! But how? Why?� He looked at her, perplexed. �Oh my love, what did I say about questioning good things?� she looked at him playfully. He laughed. �You�re right. I don�t care how I got you back, all that matters is that you�re with me and we never have to be apart.� �I am glad for that. I want to see the sunlight. Can we go outside?� �Of course. But first you have to put something more on.� He looked at her naked form. �Oh yeah. Right.� She grinned. She got up and put on a robe. She went over to him and took his hand in hers. �Now come, I want to see the day.� �As you wish, babygirl.� He kissed her sweetly. The two walked out of the house in the sunlight. ��������� |
