| Tristan awoke to a hand hitting him lightly on his face. He opened his only to see Dustin. What the hell are you doing here? he demanded. Tell me what happened last night. Dustins eyes danced with mischief. What do you think happened? Tristan scowled and put the pillow over his face. I think you screwed her nice. He nodded with approval. Well then youre wrong. Came his muffled voice. You mean you struck out? Tristan sat up and threw the pillow at him. No I didnt strike out. I didnt screw her either. I made love to her. Made love? Man, youve got it bad. Shes totally got you. Dustin shook his head. She doesnt have me. We have each other. He sighed happily. Well, she is hot. You found yourself a real woman. I think shes my soulmate. I cant believe youre actually talking this way. Youve only been with her for three freaking days. You cant really believe shes your soulmate? Well I do and from now on I would like it if you stayed out of my goddamn business. Tristan snapped. Fine, man. Whatever you say. He shook his head and left the room. Tristan sighed and lay back down. He was already waiting for tonight when he might see her again. It was as if every moment away from her was an agony too strong to bear. He needed something as a symbol of his love for her. He smiled to himself got up. He knew just the thing. Hastily, he got dressed and ran out the door. Box in hand, Tristan walked up to the door and knocked. When Diana didnt answer he pushed the door open. It was unlocked. Worry taking over, he went to her room. Diana was lying there in exactly the same place he left her. Smiling, he bent over her and kissed her forehead. She opened her eyes slowly and smiled when she saw him. Hello, love. Have I been in bed all day? Yes. Are you ok? You dont look so well. Thanks. She said dryly. You know what I mean. You look ill. Im fine. Im just tired. Im glad to see you. She smiled warmly at him. As Im glad to see you. I got you something. |
